Greenhouse wallpaper is part of the 'LAB' collection
Erik Gutter has been working since 1994 as an independent designer, stylist and decorator. In 2009 ‘Studio Erik Gutter’ opens doors in Blaricum, a design studio and an interior design shop. His background being flora, he always applies plants in interiors since he sees this as an indispensable part, preferably unknown sculptural plants, as a special object. Thinking back to his childhood, as a small child, the image pops up of windows to which weeds or plants were stuck, due to condensation or water. As if they literally would bloom through the glass. The greenhouse windows on the wallpaper resemble a framework through which you can see the green landscape. This way, you can turn a solid wall into a kind of greenhouse making you look outside. Or you can see it as getting the green into your home.
